About Me

I’m a song writer that pens lyrics for those 20-Something’s like me that are still trying to figure out life. Old enough to buy a case of White Claws? Absolutely. Still a little terrified about doing your own taxes? 100%. These are songs for the hills and valleys of your quarter life crisis adventures.

My music career first took flight at 14 years old when I crossed paths with a producer who would ultimately become my first mentor. A wide-eyed novice, he ignited a fire and granted me with the courage to pursue long writing. From that moment on I was hooked. I would spend the better part of the next 5 years shadowing his work and honing my craft.

Along the way, I was blessed to be assisted by so many others that shared their wisdom and encouragement. What came next was the inevitable next step in the journey, a move to Nashville. In 2015 I stepped into Davidson County with $50.00 to my name and a duffle bag full of ramen noodles. Cliché right? Except I didn’t come here to chase my dream, I’m determined to catch it.

The aspiring artist lifestyle in Music City has its ups and downs, but I’m so grateful for all of it. It is the most challenging and rewarding endeavor of my life. Each day I’m thankful for the growth as a person and as a musician.

In terms of style and artistry, my influences are all over the map. Jessie J is a musical hero of mine and so is Rascal Flatts. I like to call my sound "Pop with a twang" because I merge the storytelling of country music with my eclectic melting pot of inspiration.

Outside of music, I love queso more than I’d like to admit and I pack a healthy dosage of sass into my daily routine. You can blame both of those on my Texas roots (credit to the great Mark Chesnutt).

My next project is in the works and I can't wait for y'all to hear it!
